Sand Sculptures Festival as a Part of the World Nomad Games
'Magical Sand' festival of sand sculptures will take place on August 25 in Cholpon-Ata, Lake Issyk-Kul, as a part of the World Nomad Games. Sculptors from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyz Republic will present their works dedicated to the World Nomad Games and 25 years Kyrgyz Republic's independence. Ethno concert will also be a part of the festival with performance of different musical bands and performers. The best work of the festival will be announced during an opening ceremony on August 25. The festival will take place till the end of September. The entrance to the opening ceremony will be free of charge. Since August 26, the entrance fee will be KGS 200 (USD $3).
