Previously we wrote about the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games at the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata. This time it's the festival in Kyrchyn gorge, a totally different story. The World Nomad Games are not only about sports, but also, and perhaps even more about nomadic culture and lifestyle. This is exactly what is happening in Kyrchyn — the folk festival is probably the best place at the moment to feel oneself a nomad. Here's what you missed if you didn't have a chance to visit Kyrchyn.

The World Nomad Games were launched in 2014. The nomadic version of the Olympic Games are aimed at revival and preservation of the historical cultural heritage of the nomadic people’s civilization of the world. Representatives from over 40 countries are taking part in the World Nomad Games.
