Zheti-Oguz Gorge

The name means 'Seven Bulls' because of the 35 m wall of seven red cliffs. Zheti-Oguz is only 28 km away from Karakol, one of the major towns of Issyk-Kul region.

There is also a mountain called a 'Broken Heart' right in the entrance to the gorge. The place is also famous for its hot springs — there's even a resort on the altitude of 2,200 m. You will also find beautiful forests and a waterfall called 'Maiden Braids'.
