Uncornered Market: Best Tourist Sights and Landscapes in Kyrgyz Republic
It is not very often for Kyrgyz Republic to gain lots of media attention. Fortunately it is slowly, but changing. The World Nomad Games brought a lot of attention to our small beautiful country. And on top of that, even with no major events happening here, we are getting recommended for visiting — 2016 top emerging travel destination by Business Insider or top country tipped for a tourism boom over the next decade by Telegraph. And even a place among top 12 countries to visit from 198 from a guy, who has visited all countries in the world.
This time this is Uncornered Market. Dan and Audrey, a couple running this travel blog, have visited Kyrgyz Republic and shared their experience in a post called 'Kyrgyzstan: Best Tourist Sights and Landscapes'.
Now here's an excerpt from their post.
We unintentionally timed our visit with the shoulder and low seasons. Tourist numbers dwindled and temperatures dropped. Although everyone told us we should have come earlier in the summer, the first snow falls of autumn in Kyrgyzstan are nothing short of spectacular. A few patches of green grass remain, leaves are changing color and mountains are dusted (or covered) in white. If you can brave the cold, this time of year delivers a multi-layered visual treat.
Dan and Audrey have traveled to Karakol, Lake Son-Kol, Altyn-Arashan Gorge, south coast of Lake Issyk-Kul, and Osh. You can read more on their trip to Kyrgyz Republic here.
