ololo talks: Jomart Ormonbekov, 7 pm to 9 pm

Please meet Jomart Ormonbekov, Political Affairs Officer at UN responsible for Northeast Asia (China, Japan, Mongolia, South Korea and North Korea), who now resides in Beijing. Jomart is also a husband, a dad to two daughters, a feminist, a hedonist, a cookery expert and a fashionist. ololo has invited him to talk about political affairs in Asian region and his experience in China, Maldives and KR. Come join the conversation.

Let's Dance: Electric Slide, 7 pm

Let's dance! Adilet Toktogaziev will teach you how — he has over 25 years of professional dancing experience and has performed in musicals in Las Vegas and theatres like Bolshoi, Mariinsky, La Scala and Metropolitan Opera. Despite his ballet background, he teaches different types of dancing, come pick yours. This week it's electric slide.

Christopher Nolan Evening: The Dark Knight Rises, 8 pm to 10:30 pm

The Story is a new place, where you can watch movies you like with your friends and / or play console games. The founders are fans of Christopher Nolan and there is now a weekly event with his movies. This week it's The Dark Knight Rises.

City as a Network of Communities and Initiatives — Research Presentation, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Raushanna Sarkeeva, director of Urban Initiatives foundation and George Washington University's Central Asia Program fellow will present the results of her research, which shows relationships between NGOs and communities in Bishkek. All those interested in urban development and civil society development are welcome to join a discussion about the future of urban communities.

Traditional Music Night, 6 pm

Interested in Kyrgyz traditional music? Family of Bakyt and Aidai, Kyrgyz traditional musicians, invite you to a mountain village just south of Bishkek to sit with them at dastorkon, a Kyrgyz traditional table, listening to the ancient Nomadic melodies and songs performed on komuz and kyl-kyiak, Kyrgyz musical instruments. The band consists of the following members: Bakyt Chytyrbaev — kyl kyiak (traditional string instrument), Aidai Stamkulova — vocal and Tariel Chytyrbaev, their son — komuz (traditional instrument with three strings). Indian Diaries Exhibition, 7 pm

Tatiana Biziukova is an artist, who was born in KR and later studied art in Saint Petersburg. She spent 10 years travelling in Asia. She has always been attracted to rich cultural traditions of the region — this is why she has decided to work in arts and culture in Varanasi, India. The exhibition of her works will be available till Aug 4.
